Oscar’s Bio:
Oscar is a Mexican-born Chicago-raised Software Engineer with experience in supply chain management. He has an obsession with fountain pens and making sure everyone feels safe. Oscar has a passion for helping folks of underrepresented communities break into tech and support them throughout their career. He currently fulfills this passion by helping organize People of Color Code, a Meetup, and a group that shares his same ideologies of making tech careers accessible. He has also recently launched a new podcast, Casual Viernes, a collaboration with LatinXAmerica Media in order to increase the representation and stories of Latinx folks.
