Marie W. Watts is a former employment discrimination investigator and human resource consultant. Coauthor of Human Relations, 4th ed., her work has also been published in the Texas Bar Journal and the Houston Business Journal, as well as featured on Issues Today. Marie and her husband live on a ranch in central Texas.  In her spare time, she travels in her RV, supports a historic house, and hangs out with her grandsons.

Let’s face it, people. Discrimination at an average workplace is an actual thing that happens – a lot! It comes in subtle flavors and shows up in unusual places. There is a way to nip this in the bud if we know where to look. Listen to Marie Watts as she opens up about her vast experience as an employment discrimination investigator. This episode is highly recommended!

Still dreaming of getting your foot in the proverbial #webdevelopment door? Did you know that there are companies that offer you a chance to do a proper #apprenticeship and get your feet wet? We found one in Dayton, OH. Check out “the exposé” :) youtu.be/Grsju8FjSx

Not all #developer #jobs are created equally. Finding the right opportunity should include a great culture, a great workspace, and #apprentice opportunities for career growth. youtu.be/Grsju8FjSx

To become a successful #webdeveloper, you need an employer who offers ample opportunities for growth. We met one such employer. Check out our #profile of a sparkling little #design and #development shop called Sparkbox. youtu.be/Grsju8FjSx
